Rachel Matthew Development Receives Merit Award from NAIOP

The NAIOP, The Commercial Real Estate Development Association, held its Eagle Awards ceremony on Friday, December 4th, at the Albuquerque Marriott. The Eagle Awards honor real estate projects that meet high standards in the local area. This year, 63 projects were entered into the competition. Among this field, Rachel Matthew Development was honored with the Merit Award for our work at the Wealth Management Group building in Rio Rancho.

As has become tradition at the annual event, the luncheon program featured a video of skits that spoofed different scenes from popular movies. The video was incorporated into the ceremony, and awards were handed out intermittently.

These days, renovations and remodels are the primary work for most companies working in commercial real estate. NAIOP president, Lynn Andersen, noted that two of the Eagle Awards’ nine categories this year emphasized upgrades to existing buildings.
